At the GS-6 level you will perform developmental duties, as assigned.
At the Full Performance Level (GS-7) you will perform the duties listed below:
You will perform a variety of technical duties to support Museum Specialists
You will receipt and unpack collection or objects verifying documentation and shipping records
You will photograph or mark artifacts and prepare collections or artifacts for storage
You will assist higher level personnel in research to identify artifacts
You will answer general inquires regarding historical properties in storage
You will perform routine research in the Department of the Navy Heritage Asset Management Database
You will assist in conducting inventories of the artifact collection
You will execute artifact location and record updates
You will assist with daily opening and closing procedures
You will perform environmental monitoring for the facility
