- Emergency and Safety Protocols: Apply sound clinical judgment in emergency situations, and ensure adherence to bloodborne pathogen exposure guidelines, bodily fluid precautions, and other regulatory safety protocols.
- Cultural Sensitivity and Patient Interaction: Demonstrate respect and sensitivity to cultural and social differences in interactions with patients and staff. Ensure patient-centered care that considers physical, emotional, and financial resources.
- Supervise and Develop Clinical Staff: Recruit, mentor, and supervise medical staff, including physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants. Ensure ongoing professional development and adherence to clinical guidelines and organizational standards.
- Enhance Patient Care and Safety: Oversee the implementation of patient-centered care strategies, safety protocols, and infection control practices to maintain a high standard of care and a safe environment for all patients.

- Participate in Strategic Planning: Collaborate with executive leadership to develop and execute strategic initiatives that improve service delivery, expand access to care, and promote organizational growth and sustainability.
- Manage Clinical Operations and Resources: Oversee clinical operations to ensure efficient use of resources, including managing medical equipment, supplies, and staffing to support effective patient care.
- Teamwork and Collaboration: Foster collaboration within multidisciplinary teams to achieve organizational goals. Develop and maintain strong working relationships with the medical community.
- Represent the Health Center in External Engagements: Function as a liaison with external organizations, community partners, and public health entities to advocate for patient needs, promote public health initiatives, and enhance the health center's visibility and impact in the community.
Required Qualifications:
- Medical Degree: Must possess an MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
- Board Certification: Board Certified in a primary care specialty (e.g., Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Pediatrics).
