Schedule available includes working every other weekend/holiday:

  • 6:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. Part-time opportunity (16 hours per pay period)
  • 2:00 p.m. - 10:30 p.m. Part-time opportunity (16 -72 hours per pay period)

Location Information

We have four senior communities in New Hope, Brooklyn Park, Shoreview, and Woodbury that are rich with thoughtful amenities and support. Our compassionate services also reach seniors living in the broader Twin Cities area through home care, outpatient therapies and wellness programs.

Rooted in history, Saint Therese of New Hope is our largest community. This care center has 168 skilled nursing beds for long-term and transitional care. In addition, the Residence at Saint Therese of New Hope houses 225 independent apartments and suites for assisted living and memory care.

Responsibilities

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) evaluates, documents, directs and provides nursing care. This role will communicate resident status changes to relatives or responsible party, as well as the case manager, house supervisor, and medical provider.

Special Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Resident centered thinking, with awareness & sensitivity to resident needs, interests, & abilities
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of position, including lifting over 50 lbs. while transferring a resident
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
  • Working knowledge of personal computers and related software
  • Proven history of good judgment and integrity
  • Demonstrated knowledge of state and federal regulations

Qualifications
Experience Previous nursing experience preferred, not required. (preferred)
Licenses & Certifications CPR Certification (preferred)
Licensed Practical Nurse (required)
