No experience is necessary, and you will receive full on-the-job (OTJ) training
What you will do
- Receive full training on State-of-the-Art equipment and all safety practices
- Execute standard working procedures and/or experimental work in your designated lab under the supervision of the Lead Tech or Supervisor.
- Perform preventative maintenance and first level troubleshooting on processes and tooling as trained. Perform execution, data entry and lot-tracking for all your work.
- Load/Run/Unload materials and jobs and support equipment, including applicable cleaning and preparation, per documented procedures and experimental work instructions.
- Act as the point of communication for escalations of any issues to the Lead Tech or Supervisor for resolution.
To Be Successful You Will Have
- A high school diploma, General Education Development (GED) or equivalency.
- Technical experience in R&D, product test development or manufacturing environments. Preferred, but not necessary.
- The ability to focus and multi-task in a rapidly changing environment. A team-oriented attitude with a strong desire to learn.
- An eagerness to work with the organization to support experimental and new product development.
- Effective written/verbal communication and analytical skills.
- A desire to work in a team environment as well as operate independently.
- A strong grasp of the Microsoft Office suite (MS Word, MS Excel, OneNote, MS Outlook Exchange etc.).
- Working conditions can include:
- Evening shift
- Must be able to sit and use computer and phone for extended time periods
- Ability to work in cold climate
- Repetitive hand tasks required with minimal breaks
- Ability to interact with various persons professionally and positively
