This position is located in the Office of Special Reviews, which conducts a broad range of work, including reviews of VA operations, administrative investigations involving senior VA officials, and examinations of whistleblower retaliation allegations involving VA contractors. The office often initiates reviews and investigations at the request of the Inspector General or Congress.

The following are the duties of this position at the GS-12. If you are selected at a lower grade level, you will have the opportunity to learn to perform all these duties, and will receive training to help you grow in this position.
- Serve as primary e-discovery liaison to project teams comprised of staff from a broad range of disciplines, managing multiple concurrent matters at varying stages of the electronic discovery (e-discovery) lifecycle.
- Utilize e-discovery platforms and tools, such as Relativity, Microsoft Purview, and Nuix to collect, cull, organize, analyze, and produce various forms of electronically stored information (ESI) obtained from agency sources and external parties in compliance with legal standards and VA OIG protocols.
- Provide comprehensive project, legal, and technical and support in collaboration with e-discovery staff, IT professionals, and subject matter experts to meet e-discovery and operational needs efficiently and effectively.
- Develop and deliver guidance and training for project teams to adopt and integrate case management, investigative, and e-discovery tools and strategies.
