The successful incumbent will possess outstanding communication skills while adhering to our high standard of excellence. REQUIREMENTS:

  • BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or other Technical discipline; Experience in a higher education environment preferred
  • Minimum 7 recent years of systems engineering experience including management and technology experience with enterprise-level systems, cloud-based services, and endpoint infrastructure support
  • UNIX/Linux/Microsoft/Apple on-prem and cloud system administration experience required
  • Windows system administration experience
  • Hands-on experience with UNIX/Linux/Windows/Apple system and program installation, compilation and configuration
  • Working knowledge of databases, SQL and the application of continuous integration (CI) and continuous deployment solutions
  • Proficient with concepts of a wide range of tools and technologies in Infrastructure management, deployment, and development
  • Experience with at least one scripting language
  • Functional knowledge of standards-based networking applications
  • Functional knowledge of account management processes, directory, and authentication services
  • Demonstrated passion for problem solving; Strong project management skills and the proven ability to build trust and work well with all levels of management and technical staff are required
  • Able to communicate effectively with people at varying levels of technical fluency including the ability to explain and document complex technical issues in a way that non-technical and/or inexperienced people may understand
  • Must possess strong analytical skills as well as active listening skills and a high degree of integrity relative to computer security and confidentiality of information
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team; Ability to work concurrently on multiple tasks and projects
  • Team player with excellent consulting skills and a fun, but professional presence required
  • Excellent customer service skills; A high degree of integrity relative to data security and confidentiality of information required


The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.

Note: Pay is not considered compensation until it is earned, vested and determinable. The amount and availability of any compensation remains in Kforce's sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified in its discretion consistent with the law.
