- Your Impact Serve as task lead or project manager for National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) projects, including CE, EA and EIS projects.
- Prepare planning studies, technical reports, and/or NEPA documents on TxDOT projects.
- for variety of clients including municipalities, counties, MPOs, transit agencies, and DOTs. Preparation and development of pre-NEPA, feasibility and supporting studies for environmental planning projects.
- Expertise with Geographic Information Systems (GIS) for data analysis and map generation related to planning studies.
- 5 to 7 years of experience working in the environmental planning field, completing environmental surveys, fieldwork, habitat and construction support, impact assessments, and permitting.
- Well-developed expertise with consulting practices, conducting NEPA / CEQA / other analysis and preparation of associated documentation.
- Ability to work independently and provide guidance and leadership to junior team or project members, with strict adherence to QA/QC.Experience with discipline-specific software (i.e., ArcGIS, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch-Up).
- Proficiency with technical writing, office automation and communication software, technology, and tools.
