Job Description
Collaborate with a co-source provider to prepare federal and state partnership tax returns.Develop audit-ready files to support current year returns and assist with IRS audits as needed.Support the tax reporting process.Prepare estimated income computations for partners.Contribute to the preparation of the US income tax provision (limited in scope due to flow-through nature of entity structure).Assist in tax planning projects and credits, including partner tax projections.Ensure adherence to department policies and compliance with tax accounting procedures and internal controls.Prepare various special computations and support tax planning initiatives.

The Successful Applicant
3+ years in tax compliance and consulting, with a focus on large operating partnerships/corporations.Preferred tax expertise includes partnerships, state and local income taxes, and federal tax topics relevant to manufacturers (e.g., UNICAP, GILTI, Depreciation, R&D, Inventory).Experience with private equity-owned businesses.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.ERP experience (SAP preferred)
Qualifications
BS in Finance, Accountancy, or a related field.CPA preferred.
Skills and Knowledge
Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of conveying complex concepts clearly.Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.A strong team player with the confidence and ability to work autonomously and make decisions.
