Job Description

Under the general guidance of the Director of Beverage, the Skybar Food and Beverage Coordinator is responsible for assisting with all Food & Beverage administrative duties.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

Answer the phones and respond to voicemails as needed using proper phone etiquette at all times in a timely manner. Organize and receive invoices and packing slips, after items received by receiving department or Skybar management. Assist Skybar Director of Operations and Skybar management in administrative duties Sort and distribute mail Set up new Skybar voicemail daily with information on Skybar and events that day, and major upcoming events. Maintain organization and cleanliness in Skybar office area. Attend Skybar, Resume, BEO, and Marketing meetings. Coordinate with hotel, sales, catering, and restaurant departments to exchange relevant information regarding events, reservations, and other important information related to operations or events. Use Delphi to create, edit, and distribute Skybar BEOs Communicate Skybar events to management team and staff, and hotel. Ensure AM and PM Stand-Up meeting attendance. Responsible for VIP reservations directed by Skybar Management. Review contracts as needed from Skybar Management. Prepare month end reports as requested. Generate POs for invoices Send invoices and new vendor forms to new vendors and accounting team Assist sales coordinators with special projects for internal and external customers Assist with other reasonable requests made by management that facilitates the operations for the department/hotel.. Coordinate key projects and initiatives for Skybar. Assist with menus when needed. Have sufficient knowledge of the entire hotel and all outlets; including menus, concepts and pricing. Print and post 411, BEO’s and other relevant information for the day to the Skybar board. Manage, respond, and add tables to SevenRooms, including communicating table reservation information to the VIP host and sending any relevant information to management and staff Provide weekly update of events to Skybar staff and to hotel team Update Skybar events calendar Work or assist in major events Input guest info/data into SevenRooms Update DJ/promoter calendar. Communicate DJ needs with management and staff

What we’re looking for…

Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) Must be proficient in Adobe Acrobat, Photoshop, Illustrator Preferred undergraduate degree in Business Administration, Hotel Management or related field Ideally bilingual in Spanish Hotel hospitality & nightlife experience Manager leadership skills

Pay Range: $26.00 - $26.00 per hour

EXPERIENCE:

1 year of Food & Beverage coordinator/administrative experience preferred.

EDUCATION

High School Diploma or equivalent required One to two years in a public contact position, preferably in an upscale or lifestyle brand hotel Enter and locate work related information using computers and/or point of sale systems Possess a gracious, friendly, and fun demeanor Ability to multitask, work in a fast paced environment and have a high level attention to detail Strong verbal and written communication skills in English Maintain positive and productive working relationships with other employees and departments Ability to work independently and to partner with others to promote an environment of teamwork

WORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL WORK DEMANDS:

Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 30 pounds without assistance Requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening and hearing ability and visual acuity Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time or for an entire work shift Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping

Assimilate into Ennismore’s culture through understanding, supporting, and participating in all Ennismore elements. Demonstrate working knowledge of the service standards. Regular attendance in conformance with the standards, which may be established by Ennismore from time to time, is essential to the successful performance of this position.
