Job Summary:
Westat is seeking a performance coach who will support and promote training and technical assistance for 21st Century Community Learning Centers (CCLC) grantees in Texas. The ideal candidate will have experience with and knowledge about program development, extended learning, dropout prevention, and adult learning principles.

This is a remote position. Must reside in Texas and be available to travel 50%.

Job Responsibilities:
Conducts site visits as assigned to assess program quality and implementation according to approved grant applications and guidelines. Prepares reports based on data review and site visits, which include recommended coaching actions to support grantee implementation goals.Develops and frequently updates an annual grantee support plan and schedules trainings, monthly coaching calls, and quality assurance visits as needed by the grantees and TEA.Maintains accurate and detailed documentation on all grantee interactions in a tracking and reporting system maintained by Westat to provide reporting to TEA. Reviews grantee data from the TX21st student tracking system (a technology-based federal and state data collection tool) for completeness, accuracy, quality, and integrity of data reported.Supports large conference logistics and content development using conference apps and on-line tools.Basic Qualifications:A bachelor's degree in education, training, or related fields.5+ years of related experience with out-of-school time learning, dropout prevention, or at-risk youth programs, to include 3 years of experience at the post graduate level.Demonstrated experience with data collection, analysis, and reporting on program outcomes.Demonstrated experience with grants, contract compliance, and budget/fiscal experience.Preferred Qualifications:Master's degree preferred.Direct experience with 21st CCLC grant preferred.2-3 years' experience coaching and/or working with education leaders.Experience with program development, monitoring, evaluation, and improvement highly preferred.Training or presentation experience preferred.Minimum Qualifications:Demonstrated communication skills.Collaboration with teams, managers and/or clients.Organization skills, including time management ability.Detail oriented.
