Scale Clerk - Richmond, TX.
This is a full-time, non-exempt position.

POSITION SUMMARY: Reporting to the Commercial Manager in Lubbock, Tx, the position is responsible for operating the scales and actively maintaining an ongoing relationship with haulers, co-workers, operations and sales staff at our cottonseed crush plant in Richmond, TX. Will have daily exposure to customers in a dynamic environment and will be responsible for many aspects of daily and monthly reporting, filling, data entry, data management, training and team support in day-to-day responsibilities of the business.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for weighing trucks in and out and entering pertinent information
  • Required to answer phones, file and retain documents and maintain a clean and neat workspace.
  • Responsible for providing exceptional customers service with a positive and professional attitude
  • Represent ADM well by being customer-focused, committed to accuracy and reliability in a fast paced environment.
  • Partner with the Sales Team to create and maintain excellent relationships with customers and haulers
  • Other reasonable tasks as assigned by Plant Manager and/or Commercial Manager
  • Work well with customers and logistics companies regarding orders and documentation needs
  • Manage and file Truck insurance and documentation
  • Work with operations and quality team to enter reports and changes as needed into internal systems
