Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Journeyman DevSecOps Engineer to join our team

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Applies advanced principles, theories, and concepts.

  • Contributes to the development of innovative principles and ideas.

  • Works on unusually complex problems and provides solutions that are highly creative.

  • Works with minimal/limited consultative direction toward predetermined long-range plans and objectives.

  • Provides advice and counsel to the organization in area of expertise.

  • Applies experience toward establishing long-range plans and objectives.

  • Leads a technically and experientially diverse team.

  • Designs, researches and develops highly advanced applications which contribute to new product/business opportunities.

  • Participates in efforts to capture new business through technical work and capability briefings.

  • Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

  • Active Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility

  • IAT Level II certification

  • BS degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

  • At least 8 years of experience designing and implementing information management systems

  • Three years within the past five years of experience in technical research and development that enables continuing innovation within the infrastructure

  • Three years within the past five years of demonstrated experience in product development, to include direct control and responsibility over subordinate developers working the development of a web-based, as well as data intensive system.

  • Three years within the past five years of experience with provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of software and infrastructure-as-code in a DevOps and/or continuous delivery environment using automated deployment and testing frameworks.

  • Three years within the past five years of experience with commercial cloud service providers (Amazon Web Services or Microsoft Azure), containers, server-less architecture, micro-services, web services, and RESTful API design
