Responsibilities

The Nursing Assistant (NA) is part of a care delivery team that provides care to patients. The NA works under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN) and assumes delegated responsibilities as appropriate.



Qualifications

Must be 18 years old.

Must maintain regular and acceptable attendance.

Nurse Assistant experience preferred.

MN Nurse Assistant Certification preferred.

Maintains BLS (Basic Life Support) for Health Care Providers from one of the following programs:​
     1. American Heart Association
     2. American Red Cross

If a candidate does not currently have their Basic Life Support certification, it will be included as part of the orientation program.

Compensation range is $15.82 -$21.52 / hour based upon union contract.
