Why Youâll Love The Practice:

  • Join a team of 4 psychiatrists, 4 Nurse Practitioners, Therapists, Licensed Clinical Social Workers, Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Nurses, and dedicated ancillary staff. 
  • Treat both voluntary and involuntary patients ages 18 and over with acute psychiatric and behavioral disturbances in the safety of a newly renovated locked 22-bed unit.
  • Provide consultation and liaison services throughout the hospital. 
  • Telepsych will be incorporated with this opportunity. 
  • Integrated behavioral health services in primary care
  • Opioid detoxification and treatment through a buprenorphine (suboxone) program
  • Electroconvulsive therapy (ECT)
  • Schedule: Two 5-day blocks on weekdays in a month and two weekend calls per month. "10 hour shifts with Tele-Psych incorporated.
  • Call Schedule: Two weekends of inpatient call monthly

A gravel trail circumnavigates the lake and is just under 4 miles and can offer a quick, refreshing break on a busy day. 
    • Our community is just a short one hour drive to the Pacific Ocean.
