Our client, in Tualatin, OR, is a manufacturer of high quality, long shelf life, soy-based products. They are seeking a new Maintenance Clerk to join their team 

We are looking to hire somebody with some knowledge of mechanical parts such as pumps, motors, gearboxes, and bearings. No previous ordering experience is required

PERKS AND BENEFITS: 

$18.70 - $23.50 / hour to start with performance-based increases  A full-time, Monday-Friday, DAY shift schedule (7 AM-3:30 PM) - some flexibility On-the-job training provided  The opportunity to work with a small but tight-knit team Temp-to-hire opportunity with benefits starting after 30 days Upon getting hired permanently: Medical (including vision) and dental plans (LOW employee only costs) 401k AD&D, STD, and LTD insurance Flexible spending accounts 14 days of PTO, and more 
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING: Organizing maintenance parts and keeping them appropriately stocked Keeping parts room clean and organized Maintaining an inventory list and keeping records on parts used for each piece of equipment Generating POs Monthly wastewater reports and other data entry as needed 

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE: Basic computer literacy - experience with Microsoft Office (particularly Excel) highly preferred  Good math and reading skills The ability to identify mechanical parts - basic knowledge of bearings, pumps, motors, etc
