Atrium Hospitality is currently recruiting a Banquet Server for our Banquets department. The hotel has 283 suites and has 6000 sq. ft. of event space. It is conveniently located in Norman with less than 30-minute commute to and from the center of Oklahoma City.

Pay Rate: Starting $15/hr.

Banquet Associates are the bread and butter of our meeting and event operation. The primary purpose of the Banquet Server/Setup is to provide our guests with an excellent banquet experience. Work Performed: 

The Banquet Associate is tasked with the following duties, responsibilities, and assignments: 

  • Set up/Break down banquet meeting and conference space per Banquet Event Order instructions, including tables, table complements (salt, pepper, sugar, breadsticks, etc.), table linens, table settings, center pieces, dishes, audio-visual equipment, and all other event provisions.
  • Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of banquet spaces before, during, and after events.
  • Maintain communication with the guest contact person, Banquet Captains, and the Banquet Manager for guest needs and provide excellent guest service to all clients.
  • Serve all food and beverages to guests per company standards.
  • Observe Cleveland County Health Department guidelines for food handling and sanitation.
  • Observe Cleveland County and Oklahoma State guidelines for service of alcoholic beverages.
  • Manage audio-visual equipment during events.
  • Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures, including reporting accidents, injuries and unsafe work conditions to management or Human Resources.
  • All other work as required to complete the primary purpose of this position.

Qualifications: 

Required Licenses/ Certification: 

  • Cleveland County Food Handler Certification, Oklahoma ABLE Liquor License, TIPs/RServing/ServSafe.
  • Alcohol or equivalent alcohol server certification acquired upon hire during onboarding.

Preferred Education:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.

Physical: 

  • Ability to lift, pull and push up to 50 pounds regularly.
  • Ability to bend and squat repeatedly.
  • Ability to walk and stand for duration of scheduled shift.

Availability: 

  • Flexible to work day shifts, early mornings, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
