Duties
  • Serve as secretary and principle administrative support position to the office supervisor, coordinating the work of the office with the work of other offices to ensure that work is in compliance with that of higher-level offices and organizations.
  • Screens calls and visitors by answering most questions and resolving issues involving established policy or routine matters, apprising the office supervisor on matters of sufficient urgency or importance.
  • Plan and arrange meetings and conferences, preparing agendas, notifying participants, and preparing accommodations.
  • Research and gather background information, preparing reports, outlines, briefs, talking points, and/or introductions to be presented at various meetings by the office supervisor and assigned staff.

  • May work with procurement personnel to ensure the requisition of needed office supplies, equipment, printing, and other services.
