CONTROLLER

Now recruiting on behalf of a PE-backed, growing healthcare company based in Atlanta. The company offers a track record of growth (both organically and through acquisition), bonuses tied to company performance, and strong leadership. The team works fully onsite.

This Controller role will manage a team of 5 Accounting professionals and will have full oversight of the accounting function. This includes: month end close, financial reporting, tax compliance, payroll, Accounts Payable, internal controls, GAAP compliance, driving process improvements, variance analysis, fixed asset/lease accounting, and acquisition integration accounting.

The right candidate for the Controller role will have:
  • CPA designation
  • Bachelor's in Accounting (Master's preferred)
  • 9+ years of relevant experience
  • Prior experience at the Controller level
  • Experience working in a retail or multi-site environment preferred
  • Healthcare industry a plus
  • Big 4 audit experience preferred
  • Proven ability to drive process improvements.
  • Experience managing, developing and mentoring accounting staff
Track record of job stability and progression

  • the individual's skill sets, experience and training;
  • licensure and certification requirements;
