Foth is currently seeking a team-focused, innovative, and results-oriented Lead Hydrogeologist who is looking for new learning experiences, opportunities for career growth, and a desire to contribute to our clients' success. This position will be working out of our Green Bay, WI; Minneapolis, MN; Duluth, MN; or Madison, WI locations with the opportunity for a hybrid schedule. Primary Responsibilities
- Lead the technical execution of hydrogeological aspects of projects
- Work with project managers to estimate project costs and consult on technical approach
- Develop technical approaches for regional hydrologic characterization of groundwater systems in environments comprised of unconsolidated deposits and fractured crystalline rock
- Provide project and technical leadership on complex, multi-disciplined projects, to include managing a portion of a project's budget, scope, schedule, regulatory and contractual commitments
- Develop and implement technical approaches for numerical analysis of groundwater and surface water systems in support of permitting, industrial development and site remediation
- Teach, mentor and develop other members, as well as serve as a resource in the area of hydrogeology
- Bachelors Degree in Hydrogeology or Engineering, or a closely related field
- Minimum 10 years of experience with hydrogeological investigations
- Coordinating field characterization studies
- Aquifer testing
- Hydrophysical profiling
- Numerical analysis
- Groundwater modeling
- Providing project leadership on complex, multi-disciplined projects including managing budget, schedule, regulatory/contractual commitments and technical consultation.
- Integrating hydrogeologic studies and numerical analysis with feasibility studies and alternatives analysis
- Providing expert witness testimony at environmental hearings
- Master's Degree in Hydrogeology or Engineering, or a closely related field
- Experience working in deep bedrock environments
- Previous experience working with a technical consulting firm
