We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our growing Neurosurgery team in Fort Wayne, IN
Position Details:
- Full-time, Day Shift
- Monday - Friday, 8-hour shifts
- 1:4 rotating call - shared with collaborating physician
- No weekends or holidays
- Practice with experienced providers, including Advanced Practice Providers, Neurologists and Neurosurgeons
- Mix of inpatient, outpatient and OR time
- Opportunity to first assist in neurological surgeries
Qualifications:
- Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible
- Must be licensed or license eligible in Indiana
- ACNP, FNP or PA certification required
- Neurosurgery or Neurology experience preferred
- Open to new graduates with a completed a neurosurgery clinical rotation or RN experience
- Ideal candidates have strong critical thinking and communication skills

Hospital Overview
Delivering on our vision to make Indiana one of the nation s healthiest states, Indiana University Health expanded into the northeast Indiana market in 2018. Currently, IU Health operates four primary care clinics, two urgent cares, and a radiology center in the Fort Wayne area. A 40,000-square foot accredited ambulatory care center opened in 2021, with five operating and five procedure rooms for more than 10 different specialties.
