Maintenance Machine Repair

To help us drive excellence, you’ll get to:

·         Repairs and maintains mechanical and hydraulic components of production machines and equipment.

·         Dismantles defective machines and equipment and installs new or repaired parts.

·         Installs and repairs electrical apparatus, such as transformers and wiring, and electrical and electronic components of machinery and equipment.

·         Repairs automated machinery and equipment such as robots and presses.

·         Listens for unusual sounds from machines or equipment to detect and repair any malfunctions.

·         Performs both routine and repair maintenance on industrial pumps and scrap conveyors.

·         Visually inspects and tests machinery and equipment.

·         Repairs and maintains the physical structure of the establishment.

·         Cleans and lubricates shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery.

·         Understands, supports, and implements the company safety policies; Quality policy, housekeeping; and continuous improvement skills into daily work habits.

·         Understands and adheres to all safety guidelines as required by OSHA.

 

This full-time hourly role is a part of our Belleville Plant 2 team and reports to the Maintenance Supervisor.

Required experience.

 

·         Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

·         Basic understanding of PLC programming principles and techniques with consideration for operator and equipment safety.

·         Basic electrical knowledge of high and low voltage systems.
