Supervisory Realty Specialist

Serves as first line supervisor, plans and assigns work to be accomplished, evaluates work performance, develops performance standards, gives advice or instruction on work, and identifies training needs.
Coordinates with the Districts and staff on land exchanges and serves and the liaison for land exchange programs with other agencies or states.
Serves as the State’s principal advisor on Lands and Realty Programs. Develops guidance and establishes policy direction for the Eastern States region concerning Lands and Realty Programs.
Coordinates appraisal requests, works with the State’s Chief Appraiser, oversees appraisal work throughout the State and ensures fulfillment of contracts.
Reviews cooperative agreements, memoranda of understanding, and other technical documents related to land exchanges, acquisitions, access or other related issues.
Provides statewide training and organizes workshops for realty personnel to discuss the Land and Realty program.
Regularly works with external agencies including Federal, State, and local agencies, Native American Tribes, and other special interest groups.
