  • The Grady RN Residency program is partnered with what was the University Heath Consortium (UHC), and is now Vizient in the design and delivery of curriculum and methodologies according to the standards and guidelines applicable to Vizient Residency Programs and AACN.
  • The Grady RN Residency Program is required for all novice nurses and advanced beginners.
  • Vizient and the American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN) have demonstrated that one year of participating in a RN residency program affords the novice nurse transition as an insider with the skills and knowledge needed to provide quality safe care.
  • A dedicated Advanced Clinical Nurse as the Residency Program Coordinator to serve as a support and resource
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States as a Registered Nurse for the entire duration of the RN Residency Program (1) year.
