Position Overview: As a Staff Accountant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting regulations, and supporting various financial processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in accounting principles, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
1. Perform day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
2. Reconcile and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and completeness.
3. Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
4. Collaborate with other departments to gather financial information and support budgeting processes.
5. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and assist in the preparation for audits.
6. Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting.
7. Provide support for ad-hoc financial projects as needed.

Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
3. Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
4. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with accounting software.
5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
6. Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
7. Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
