Trains employees (laboratory, nursing staff and medical laboratory technician students) on venipuncture, capillary puncture, bleeding times, etc.
Processes specimens into batches.
Records specimen information and test data into the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS).
Maintains adequate stockage of supplies for the Bleeding room.
Clearly labels specimens after drawing.
Labels specimens to indicate exposure to infectious agents.
