Physician - Diagnostic Radiology

The physician is responsible for primarily all aspects of Diagnostic Radiology within the clinic. He/she must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide all Diagnostic Radiology services.
Responsible for reviewing radiology orders, including utilization management, ensuring appropriate pre and post procedural work ups, technical oversight of the technologists and overall safety of patients.
Oversight of contrast administration and response to adverse patient reactions.
Timely interpretation and communication of imaging results including report entry into the digital medical record and verbal notifications of critical finding.
Provide consultative service for referring physicians, provide comparative reports as requested, and participate in clinical conferences and committees.
Participate in Quality Control/Quality Management including department and hospital level peer review activities.
Responsible for teaching house staff and medical students assigned to imaging services.

Pay:
Competitive salary, annual performance bonus, regular salary increases
Paid Time Off:
50-55 days of paid time off per year (26 days of annual leave, 13 days of sick leave, 11 paid Federal holidays per year and possible 5 day paid absence for CME)

Licensure:
1 full and unrestricted license from any US State or territory

No Physician Employment Contract and no significant restriction on moonlighting
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm
