Financial Controller

Do you have manufacturing experience and are skilled with Sage X3

Jefferson Wells is looking to hire a FinancialController, contract to potential perm hire, for a manufacturing and distribution company located on the Southeast side of Los Angeles County. We are currently seeking an experienced Controller to join the finance team full-time, 40 hours a week On-site. The Controller will oversee all aspects of financial management, including accounting, budgeting, financial reporting, and compliance. Plus, lead and develop a small finance team, must have Sage X-3 experience and be able to share that knowledge with team.

Responsibilities:

Oversee Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and General Ledger functions.Manage month-end and year-end close processes.Ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting.Maintain and improve financial procedures and internal controls.Manage and maintain accounting systems and software, including Sage X-3, SAPand Microsoft Office Suite.Assist in budget preparation and forecasting.Monitor and analyze financial performance and provide recommendations for improvement.Liaise with internal and external auditors and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:Bachelorâs degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.3 to 10 years of experience in a similar role in manufacturing and distribution, with a revenue of over $1 billion.Proficiency in Sage X-3 and Microsoft Office Suite.Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting practices.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong leadership and communication skills.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.CPA or CMA certification is a plus.
