Requirements

As a Master Craftsman, what's most important to us is a strong work ethic, a professional appearance and demeanor, and a good overall knowledge of all trades—from Carpentry, Tiling, Painting, and Drywalling to light Plumbing and Electrical.

Specific qualifications for the role include:

10+ years of remodeling, handyman, or residential construction experience Ability to perform carpentry, tiling, drywall work, light plumbing & electrical, and door/window installation Previous experience being a mentor and leader to less experienced Craftsmen Must live in Elgin, IL or within Aurora, St Charles, Geneva, Elburn, Maple Park, Elgin, South Elgin Own set of standard hand and power tools Comfortable with a pre-employment background check
