As a Supervisory Chemist, you will:
Schedule work of the Division, maintaining close liaison with officials of the Office of Currency Manufacturing, Office of Supply Chain and the Office of the Chief Procurement Officer so as to be informed regarding immediate and long range requirements to printing and packaging programs impacting the materials under the position's authority.
Implement, conduct, determine resource requirements and modifies or terminates projects as necessary.
Develop long-term program plans and objectives in conjunction with BEP needs.
Periodically evaluate programs to assess their effectiveness and makes revisions to meet changing needs or to improve effectiveness. Programs are also reviewed to determine means of reducing costs or improving efficiency.
Oversee the preparation of technical documents, justifications for major procurements of materials, the technical evaluation, and administration of contracts.
Oversee the maintenance of contract work files containing copies of the contract, records of all communications with suppliers, laboratory inspection data, and certificates of conformance.
