Job Description

The Applications Chemist will report directly into the Director of R&D and be responsible for:

Develop and optimize chemical formulations to meet specific customer requirements and applications.Conduct laboratory experiments and analyses to test the performance and stability of chemical products.Collaborate with the R&D team to innovate and improve existing products.Provide technical support to customers, addressing their needs and resolving application-related issues.Prepare detailed technical reports and documentation of experimental results and product performance.Assist in scaling up production processes from the laboratory to manufacturing.Stay up-to-date with industry trends, advancements, and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance and innovation.Participate in cross-functional teams to support product development and commercialization.

The Successful Applicant

Bachelors Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or a related field (Masters in Engineering is a plus)2+ years in chemical applications, formulation development or a similar role within chemical manufacturingStrong knowledge of chemical formulations, testing methods, and analytical techniquesAbility to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectivelyProficiency in using laboratory equipment and software for data analysis and reportingWorking knowledge of semiconductor quality and manufacturing protocolsStrong communication skills and ability to work in cross-collaborative teamsExcellent organizational skills
