Electrophysiologist

A prominent, well-established cardiology group in San Francisco Bay Area seeks an outstanding BC/BE Electrophysiologist to join our independently- owned, large single-specialty cardiology group. The group consists of general, interventional and EP cardiologists.

Excellent opportunity to join an existing experienced EP to grow and expand a regionally recognized program. Large internal and external referral base and is affiliated with a mid-size community hospital with state- of-the-art EP Lab. In this dynamic position, the EP will play a key role in the arrhythmia management, and further development of heart failure and device clinic. Must possess strong work ethic and ability to collaborate with colleagues to maintain and expand an existing successful program.

The ideal candidate will possess a medical degree, have exemplary clinical skills and demonstrate a commitment to quality improvement and clinical research opportunities. Preference will be given to applicants who have completed fellowship training in cardiac electrophysiology, board certified and have 1-5 years of experience.

Major responsibilities include:

• Simple and complex atrial and ventricular ablations including transseptal catheterization and/or retrograde approach
• CIED implantation and extraction, including leadless and subcutaneous devices
• Participation in already established structural heart programs including LAA closure procedures
• In-patient and out-patient activities (EP-focused but involve general cardiology)
• Night and weekend cardiology call (no separate EP call)
