Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Senior Manager of Sales Coordinators, part of a larger Commitment Management group of support to our contractual customers by supporting our sales team, the Supervisors lead through implementation, talent management, change management and development of the team to ensure engagement and exceptional experience.
- Manage daily operations of a team of approx. 11-15 Sales Coordinators
- Provide frequent, direct coaching to team members. Spend at least 60% of time working directly with the team to guide development and performance.
- Meet with Sales Coordinator and the Sales Team around metrics, creating program adoption and efficiencies as our business evolves.
- Determine scalable scope of work to ensure success for long term growth of the Sales Coordinator Team
- Review and understand performance metrics, diagnosis of root cause of individual underperformance and develop an improvement plan.
- Plan and manage workflow of direct teams. Coordinates work activities to achieve the volume expected to meet operational requirements.
- Oversee selection and hiring of team; held accountable for team member performance.
- Own relevant Sales Coordinator internal partner relationships including Sales, Contact Center, CLPM, Quotes, Cross Referencing, TPS, Transportation, Sourcing, Open Order Mgt, EBusiness, EPRO and analytics, as well as Financial Services Teams to ensure optimal operations.
- Increase employee engagement through direct interaction and support; celebrate team and individual success. Work to achieve increased employee engagement scores as reflected in previous internal surveys.
- Work with Supervisors and Sr. Manager to make recommendations for organizational improvements.
- Manage through process/projects, as applicable.
- Mentor team members to grow within role and position for advancement opportunities.
- Administer escalation management and finalize best business solution.
Requirements:
- 3 or more years of experience in related field preferred. High school diploma or equivalent 1 or more years of management experience
- Leadership background in coaching for individual performance improvement and talent development
- Train team members on processes, procedures, compliance, and product knowledge
Competencies Needed:
- Ability to manage through conflict and have difficult conversations
- Has a continuous improvement mindset
- Excels in strategy development and execution
- Displays business acumen
- Hybrid role, person will spend time each month either in Lake Forest IL or Janesville, WI.
