Mining Project Manager: Lead the Way at Core Machinery

Are you a driven leader passionate about the mining industry and building strong client relationships? Core Machinery, a leading provider of Komatsu equipment and services, seeks a Mining Project Manager to join our team. In this pivotal role, you'll be the champion for assigned mine sites, ensuring their success through strategic leadership, seamless communication, and exceptional service delivery.

What You'll Do:
Lead by example: Provide overall leadership and oversight for the service department, managing operations, maximizing profitability, and fostering strong customer relationships.Be the communication hub: Serve as the central point of contact for your assigned mines, facilitating clear and efficient communication across all departments (sales, rentals, parts, service, and A/R) and with Komatsu representatives.Become a trusted advisor: Proactively identify market opportunities, develop and implement strategic plans to maximize equipment utilization and uptime, and address client concerns regarding service, billing, and equipment maintenance.Drive results: Ensure optimal utilization of Komatsu equipment, oversee maintenance compliance, and ensure efficient and budget-conscious deployment of mechanics.Stay ahead of the curve: Leverage sales technology to analyze market trends, track equipment activity, and develop competitive countermeasures.
What You Bring:
Proven track record: Minimum 75% travel throughout designated states and prior experience in heavy equipment sales. Mining technology experience is a plus.Relationship builder: Possess exceptional communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. You thrive in a collaborative environment and can effectively interact with diverse stakeholders.Tech-savvy: Proficient in CRM systems, order submission, and other relevant software.Komatsu knowledge: Possess a working knowledge of Komatsu equipment and services, with solid math skills for quotation and budgeting.Self-motivated leader: Strong organizational skills, detail-oriented approach, and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
