Summary

The Payroll Specialist plays an integral role within our home office payroll department at LHC Group.



Responsibilities

  • Processes bi-weekly multi-state payroll.
  • Responsible for time entry.
  • Responsible for verification of data accuracy.
  • Computes and verifies pay calculations.
  • Generates payments to employees.
  • Responsible for research and problem resolution.
  • Processes bi-weekly and monthly reports as directed.



Education and Experience

  • Working knowledge of Federal & State Payroll Laws.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years full-cycle payroll processing experience required, experience with payroll taxes and garnishments required.
  • Great Plains experience preferred.
  • Must be proficient with Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy is a must.
  • Ability to work in a high volume, fast paced environment.
