Description:

  • Serve as a PKI Registration Authority (RA) for unclassified and classified PKI systems by maintain and support PKI and PIV programs within the organization. Provides agency PKI oversight and issuance of up to 3,000 tokens and certificates annually.

  • Provide Registration Authority (RA) support in compliance with DoD Policy supporting access control.

  • Provide PKI knowledge to the customer to understand the usage and responsibilities involved with PKI certificates.

Requirements :

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

Candidates should demonstrate a detailed knowledge the following:

  • Demonstrated experience providing certificates and certificate maintenance activities to support the PKI Program in compliance with the DoD PKI Policy and Federal Common PKI Policy Framework to also include individual PKI Alternate Tokens (hardware-based) and server PKI certificates.

  • Providing PKI or Trusted Agent (TA) services for all classification levels supporting unclassified, secret, and top-secret systems.

  • Knowledge of DoD Cybersecurity Policies

  • Knowledge of DoD/NSA media destruction policies and regulations

  • Ability to advise customers on proper media destruction techniques and procedures

  • Ability to create and maintain compliance artifacts, metrics, and reporting

YEARS EXPERIENCE:

0-2 years experience with the Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) issuance of tokens and mail certificates for authentication, digital signature, and encryption capabilities.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent experience in Cybersecurity, and/or Information Systems Management, Information Technology

CERTIFICAITON(S):

Must meet 8570 certification requirements at the time of hire. IAM Level I (e.g., CAP, CND, Cloud+, GSLC or Security+), or IAT II (e.g., CASP+ CE, CCMP Security, CISA, CISSP, GCED, GCIH or CCSP) Security+ CE is preferred

DoD PKI training certificate

CLEARANCE LEVEL:

Active Top-Secret Clearance REQUIRED, eligible to be upgraded to TS/SCI

WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Some Telework offered with a requirement to be onsite up to three (3) days a week.

If alternate worksite is other than DCSA facilities or corporate office space, must have the reliable ability to communicate over voice (cell phone preferred) and stable, capable internet connection.

Must speak English well enough to communicate complex technical ideas to a diverse customer both verbally and in written form.
