Job Description

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) will be the highest-ranking executive and responsible for the overall success of the organization. Reporting directly to the Board of Directors, the CEO will be instrumental in setting the strategic direction, ensuring operational efficiency, and driving financial performance. This individual will play a critical role in fostering a culture of continuous improvement and maintaining our company's position as an industry leader. Main duties and responsibilities will include the following:

Develop and execute the company's strategic plan to achieve growth and profitability objectives.Oversee all operations and business activities to ensure they produce the desired results and are consistent with the overall strategy and mission.Build and maintain an effective executive team capable of executing the company's vision and goals.Ensure company policies and legal guidelines are communicated and adhered to at all levels.Act as the primary spokesperson for the company, representing the business in industry events, public forums, and media.Foster a corporate culture that promotes ethical practices, customer focus, and employee engagement.Manage and allocate the company's resources efficiently to ensure financial stability and growth.Develop and implement comprehensive business plans to facilitate achievement by planning cost-effective operations and market development activities.

The Successful Applicant

In return for an extremely competitive remuneration package, the successful candidate will possess the following:

Bachelors degree (non-negotiable)MBA (non-negotiable)Impeccable track record and proven experience as a as successful CEO, or responsibility for a large business unit PnL non-negotiable)Demonstrable experience in developing and executing upon strategic business plansStrong understanding of corporate finance and performance management principlesFamiliarity with diverse business functions such as marketing, PR, sales, operations, manufacturing, tech etc.In-depth knowledge of corporate governance and general management best practicesAn entrepreneurial mindset with outstanding organizational and leadership skillsExcellent communication and public speaking skills.

What's on Offer

Base salary of $ 350,000 to $ 400,000Annual bonus (performance related) of between $ 100,000 and $ 200,000 (Short Term Incentive Plan)LTIP (Long Term Incentive Plan/ Equity)Total financial compensation package of between $ 750,000 and $ 1m (dependent upon experience)Competitive company benefits packageRelocation package, where appropriateOpportunity to spearhead an established, American owned, manufacturing business in Brooklyn/ Queens area.
