Summary

This position is a staff position located in an NRCS State Office in East Lansing, MI.

The incumbent provides technical assistance as an economist for Programs Neutral Planning and develops economic resource data for all Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) activities related to resource planning. Work with a team to develop and implement ways to improve the efficiency, effectiveness, and quality of the products and/or services provided to internal and external customers.



Duties
  • Develops economic resource data for all Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) activities related to resource planning.
  • Provides staff leadership for economic phases of natural resource planning activities through collection and analyses of data.
  • Prepares reports to include interpretations and recommendations regarding economic course of action.
  • Conducts public presentations of material relating to economics and overall natural resources planning.
