We are seeking a dedicated Locums Gastroenterology (GI) Hospitalist to provide comprehensive coverage in Neptune, NJ.

Neptune, NJ, provides residents with a coastal lifestyle, cultural amenities, and recreational opportunities. Its proximity to the Jersey Shore and neighboring towns makes it an attractive place to live for those seeking a balance between suburban living and coastal experiences.

Responsibilities Include:

Cover the inpatient GI census, ensuring comprehensive care for gastroenterology patients.

Collaborate with the medical team to provide high-quality, patient-centered care

Provide daily coverage from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm, ensuring continuity of care for the patient census ( provider will cover their own patient census) .

Work alongside one Advanced Practice Provider (APP) who will assist in daily tasks.

Patient Load: Manage an average of 25-35 patients daily with APP assist.

Qualifications:

Possession of a Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school

Completion of an accredited residency program in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology

Board certification in Gastroenterology

Unrestricted medical license in the state of New Jersey

A valid Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA)
