Melanoma Oncology Physician in Ohio
StartDate: ASAP

The Taussig Cancer Institute at the Cleveland Clinic is seeking applicants at the Assistant Professor level or higher with expertise in Melanoma.

The Cleveland Clinic is a not-for-profit, multi-specialty academic medical center that integrates clinical and hospital care with research and education. The Taussig Cancer Institute, Ranked No. 1 in Ohio and No. 5 in the U.S. by U.S. News & World Report, is a part of the NCI designated Case Comprehensive Cancer Center. The Cancer Institute supports a large hematology/oncology fellowship program and has established multidisciplinary clinics with radiotherapy and surgical colleagues.

Practice Information:
  • 100% Skin Cancer
  • Brand new, state-of-the-art cancer center that features 126 exam rooms and 98 treatment rooms, on-site diagnostic imaging, radiation oncology, laboratory and pharmacy
  • Join a multidisciplinary team of doctors, nurses, researchers, and technicians focused on a single disease
  • In addition to patient care, there are ample opportunities for clinical and translational research
  • Resources for patients and families: art and music therapy, wellness center for guided imagery, facials, and other aesthetic services, a boutique where patients can receive free wigs, caps, and scarves, a private prosthetics fitting area, and more
Responsibilities will include clinical care, teaching, and participation in investigator-initiated clinical/translational research. Ambitious investigators to help drive clinical research would be favored. The successful candidates should be board certified or eligible in Medical Oncology and hold or be eligible for medical licensure in Ohio.
