Major Duties:
Directly supervise physicians, mid-level providers, health technicians including performance appraisals, department scheduling, and yearly training and certification requirements and completing recruitment for positions and disciplinary actions. Reviews and completes yearly budget for Health Clinic needs and future needed positions.
Interviews and examines patients, reviews past medical history, and request and/or performs diagnostic tests and examinations deemed necessary to obtain all possible information related to each case. Diagnosis, prevention, therapy, maintenance and rehabilitation of patients. Prescribes and/or provides treatment and arranges for specialized care or patient referral as required.
Refers patients to appropriate contracted medical or other government facilities thru coordinating and integrating information obtained into the ongoing Health Care Program at the Service Unit. Documents patient care procedures thru EHR ( Electronic Heath Record) and works closely with allied health professionals.
