Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a talented and dedicated PV Designer to join our team in the solar industry. As a Residential Solar Designer, you will play a crucial role in designing and optimizing solar energy systems for residential properties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Design and engineer residential solar energy systems, including rooftop solar PV arrays, inverters, mounting structures, and electrical components, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) software and other relevant tools to create detailed and accurate solar system layouts.Conduct site assessments to evaluate solar potential, shading analysis, roof condition, and electrical considerations.Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to gather project requirements and design customized solar solutions that meet clients' needs and preferences.Ensure compliance with building codes, electrical standards, and safety regulations throughout the design and installation processes.

Qualifications:

Relevant certifications or training in solar energy systems design are a plus.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and quality in design deliverables.Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously, while adhering to deadlines.Passion for renewable energy and a commitment to promoting sustainable practices in the residential sector.
