As a Remote Linux Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable and secure Linux-based infrastructure in the cloud. Leveraging your expertise in AWS, Terraform, and Kubernetes, you will lead efforts to automate deployment, configuration, and management processes, enabling our client to deliver robust and reliable solutions to their customers. This role offers the flexibility to work remotely while collaborating with a diverse and talented team on challenging and impactful projects.
Responsibilities:
  • Design, deploy, and maintain Linux-based systems and applications in AWS cloud environments.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform, ensuring consistency and reliability across environments.
  • Implement and manage Kubernetes clusters for container orchestration, including deployment, scaling, and monitoring.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define infrastructure requirements, develop solutions, and support project delivery.
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement proactive measures to optimize resource utilization and reliability.
  • Implement security best practices and compliance standards to ensure the integrity and confidentiality of systems and data.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve processes and solutions. Requirements:
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
    • 3+ years of experience in Linux system administration, with a focus on AWS cloud environments.
    • Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform for automated provisioning and configuration management.
    • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration and management.
    • Strong scripting skills (e.g., Bash, Python) for automation and task optimization.
    • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (e.g., Git).
    • Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to troubleshooting complex technical issues.
