Capstone Last Mile is looking for a Warehouse Supervisor to join our team and be part of something great in Savage, MD. We have an outstanding career opportunity for a driven, successful person with 2-3 years of increasing management responsibility in the distribution/transportation fields with Capstone.
Requirements

  • High-energy individual with a strong work ethic, supporting work that is fast paced
  • Prior warehouse and/or equipment experience is preferred but we are willing to train the right candidate
  • Ability to lead Independently
  • Experienced with directing and supporting the work assignments of teammates in various departments

THE OPPORTUNITY:
The Site Supervisor will mentor the Part Time Warehouse Lead and provide an environment that is team centric. This is a great training opportunity with rewarding growth potential to help you get on the right path with your next steps in a career-based environment.

  • Work with a high level of direct contact with customer's staff and outside delivery personnel; emphasis is placed on the ability to relate in a positive, friendly manner
  • The ability to make decisions, problem solve, prioritize assignments, and direct the workforce in an ever-changing, warehouse environment.

This will be Night shift operations.

  • Shift hours - 3rd shift Overnight Tues-Fri 10pm-8am ( Schedule may vary during peak season)
  • Pay range $70k - $75k

DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Running site with safety and efficiency as priorities
  • Audit of daily labor
  • Ensure customer needs are met on a daily basis.
  • Document and resolve any customer service or associate issues daily.
  • Ensure all drivers and independent contractors follow Capstone policies and work rules including Capstone safety work rules.
  • Hold weekly safety meetings and ensure associate participation.
  • Scheduling coordinator shifts based on customer requirements.
  • Interview, hire, and train new coordinators.
  • Supervise timely and accurate data entry for all services performed.
  • Complete daily closeout, including cash balancing, data upload, and payroll record administration according to Capstone policies and standard operating procedures.
