We are seeking a Medical Economics Analyst to collaborate with the Supervisor of Medical Economics to analyze medical costs and revenue through reporting packages, metrics, and dashboards. Serve as a key team member for financial and operational analytics.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop methodologies, design report formats, and write SQL queries for data extraction.
  • Maintain information systems for executive presentations.
  • Enhance and develop processes to improve reporting capabilities.
  • Analyze Medicare Advantage medical claims data.
  • Collaborate to assess information needs and finalize reports.
  • Ensure proper payments from health plans for Medicare Advantage risk populations.
  • Provide analytics on Medicare Advantage population cost trends.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Educational/Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Experience with SQL and Microsoft Office (Word & Excel) required.
  • Experience with Power BI preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and flexibility for multiple tasks.
