The responsibilities include managing the daily hotel operations to achieve planned goals for operational integrity as measured by revenue, house profit, and RevPAR index while maintaining company standards for guest satisfaction, associate satisfaction, quality assurance, and asset protection. Candidate must demonstrate leadership and professional image to associates, guests, sales accounts, local community representatives, vendors, and competitors.

The General Manager is directly responsible for the success of the housekeeping, front office, food and beverage, and sales departments of the property. A hands-on approach is necessary to effectively manage the quality of customer service and guest suite cleanliness. The General Manager will also be involved in the interviewing and hiring of new associates, as well as disciplinary measures.
 Job Requirements

-2+ years previous experience as a GM of a major hotel brand
 -Exceptional skills in front office management
 -Exceptional leadership and team building skills
 -Ability to develop people
 -Must be results driven
 -Exceptional skills in budgeting, forecasting, and planning
 -Strong skills in "guest service training
 - Ability to confront issues/problems and deal and resolve them timely;
 - Ability to motivate and inspire team members to perform at their best ability;
 - Ability to prioritize, organize and work under time constraints with sense of urgency
 - Ability to handle guest issues with tact, patience and diplomacy
