Medicine/pediatrics Full-Time position in Madison, Wisconsin

**Job Summary:**
The Division of Child Protection within the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health is recruiting a pediatrician with an interest and expertise in child abuse pediatrics. This position provides clinical services for victims of suspected child maltreatment and has the potential to develop into leadership opportunities. The division is looking for candidates with a track record of clinical excellence and academic contributions as demonstrated through training and/or practice experience.
The Department of Pediatrics is a vibrant academic department comprising more than 200 faculty members in 16 subspecialty divisions. The department promotes and enhances the health of children through outstanding clinical care, exemplary education of pediatric trainees, performance of cutting-edge research, and vigorous advocacy. Its faculty enjoy a robust infrastructure of services as well as the opportunity to contribute to a world-class research portfolio - 9th in the nation in National Institutions of Health (NIH) funding according to the Blue Ridge Institute for Medical Research 2022 rankings.

* Candidate is required to have or be eligible for a Wisconsin medical license.
* BC/BE in Child Abuse Pediatrics is preferred.
* Must be eligible for enrollment as a billing provider and for all necessary hospital privileges.
