MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must be a minimum of 21 years of age.
  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent required.
  • Minimum of 3 years casino experience required.
  • Minimum of 1 years experience in casino regulatory compliance or internal audit.
  • Knowledge working with tribal laws, regulations, auditing and/or performing BSA/Title 31-related transactions required.
  • Experience in developing internal controls and procedures.
  • In-depth knowledge of casino regulatory requirements.
  • Required to pass a pre-employment drug screening and obtain and maintain a gaming license issued from the Osage Nation.
  • Required to provide documents to show the applicant is eligible to work in the United States.
  • Osage, Native American, and Veteran preference shall apply to all positions at Osage Casinos.

Responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform compliance assessments as assigned ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations, controls, and best practices.
  • Create compliance assessment reports for leadership review.
  • Participate in the review, development, and implementation of internal controls to ensure ongoing compliance.
  • Provide support for other team members as requested by leadership.
  • Maintain an in-depth understanding of all applicable regulations and controls to better identify areas of weakness.
  • Keep up to date on regulatory and best practice developments throughout the industry to ensure subject matter knowledge.

COMMUNICATION:

  • Makes efforts to keep informed of company information and communications by reviewing property bulletin boards, digital signage, and company newsletter.
  • Effectively communicates concerns and information to manager and listens to communication from manager.
  • Effectively relates ideas for improvements to manager and management in accordance with chain of command.
  • Advises on solutions to meet requirements and best practices.
  • Provide information, written and verbally, to management team members to achieve compliance objectives with guidance from the Regulatory Compliance Manager or Director of Regulatory Compliance.

DEPARTMENT OPERATIONS:

  • Conducts risk assessments to analyze integrity of gaming operations and assets.
  • Advises on revisions to processes to align with optimal integrity and operational needs. Drafts confidential memorandums and reports for approval from the Regulatory Compliance Manager or Director of Regulatory Compliance for distribution to management team members.
  • Assists in department administrative work, including, but not limited to, Title 31 reports, filing, revising audit reports
  • Generates and maintains regulatory compliance work product in an organized manner for future reference.
  • Performs all other related and compatible duties as assigned.

GUEST SERVICE:

  • Provides excellent internal and external guest services, treating internal and external guests with courtesy and consideration at all times.
  • Cooperates and communicates with all fellow employees, always exhibiting mutual respect and consistently projecting a positive, helpful image/attitude.

REGULATORY COMPLIANCE:

  • Maintains excellent working relationships with other Company staff and all applicable regulatory commissions and other agencies as may be applicable to ensure compliance.
  • Performs all duties in accordance with company core values, objectives of the Osage Nation, internal policies and procedures, as well, as applicable laws and gaming regulations, including but not limited to, the state-tribal compact, IGRA, MICS, ONGR, the Bank Secrecy Act, Office of Foreign Asset Control, USA Patriot Act and Privacy Act.
  • Advises on impact of operational processes compared to federal, state, compact, tribal nation, and company requirements as well as best practice.
Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
