Job Description

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Remote School Psychologist to join our team for the school year. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to improving students' mental health and educational outcomes, collaborating effectively with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop individualized treatment plans.

Responsibilities

Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments via telehealth.

Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) and 504 plans.

Provide counseling and intervention services to students.

Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school personnel to support student progress.

Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school and district policies.

Participate in IEP and other school meetings to provide professional insights regarding students' progress.

Stay current with the latest research and best practices in the field of school psychology.

Educational And Licensing Requirements

Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program.

Current School Psychologist certification in the state of Alaska.

Eligibility for licensure as a School Psychologist in Alaska.

Minimum of one year of recent experience in the field of school psychology, preferably in a school setting.

Experience with telehealth platforms and remote service delivery is a plus.
