Job Responsibilities

This is an on-site Dishwasher/Server position located in Shrewsbury, MO. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing cold bar items, serving and assisting priests in the dining room, and washing dishes on a rotating schedule. They will keep the kitchen and dining room safe, sanitary, and well-organized. They will ensure that food served is of high quality and service is provided with compassion, patience and respect.  A list of specific tasks and responsibilities can be provided during the interview process.

Job Requirements

Schedule: The schedule rotates and will vary slightly based upon team need and your availability. Shifts are 10 hours: 7:00 am–2 pm and 4 pm–7:00 pm. Meals are served 3 times a day, 7 days per week.

Minimum Age Requirement: 21 years’ old

Skills and Attitudes Needed for Success:

-Food Handler Certification a plus
-Prior food preparation experience, preferably in a commercial setting
-Knowledge of food preparation and presentation
-Familiarity with food safety and sanitation guidelines
-Ability to follow recipes and par levels and work independently
-Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
-Flexible schedule and availability
-Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds
-Ability to stand for long periods of time
-Ability to be gentle and compassionate in communicating with retired priests
-Provide excellent customer service, especially during mealtimes
-Work well with executive chef, kitchen team, administrator, and other team members at Regina Cleri Community
