Our affiliate, Unified Women’s Healthcare of the Carolinas, is looking for a Certified Nurse Midwife to join their prestigious Women's Health Care Center in Morehead City, NC. Certified nurse midwife (CNM) is responsible for working closely with both gynecologic and obstetric patients, assisting in births, and providing health care to women post-pregnancy. The CNM will assist with prenatal care, labor, delivery, and postpartum care, and may also provide reproductive care, treatment, and education to female patients.

Join an established and successful practice that has served the Crystal Coast area for over 40 yearsOffice locations in Morehead City and SwansboroPractice team consists of 6 OB/GYN physicians, 6 nurse practitioners, 2 certified nurse midwives, and 1 physician assistantApproximately 44 hours per week divided between the office and hospitalClinic patient volume:20-25 per day3 hospital shifts per weekDelivering hospital: Carteret Health Care HospitalCompensation/Benefits Highlights:

AMCB Certified Nurse-MidwifeGraduate of a nurse-midwifery education program accredited by ACNM Accreditation Commission for Midwifery Education (ACME)Master's degree in Nursing (MS/MSN)Active and unrestricted state registered nurse (RN) licenseCPR and NALS CertificationCurrent Unrestricted DEA License or ability to obtainOne year of full-time experience as a CNM is preferredLabor & Delivery experience preferredCity/Location Highlights:
